Making homemade dips and dressing mixes couldn’t be easier! And homemade always tastes so much better than store bought, pre-made mixes and does not have yucky ingredients like preservatives or anti-caking agents. We enjoy this simple dry ranch dip and dressing mix as a dip for veggies, salad dressing and mixed with Italian seasoning and beef broth for a delicious gravy (or delectable sauce) for roast beef! It’s great to season breadcrumbs with for homemade chicken strips and tastes delicious with potatoes! It’s a versatile seasoning mix and is delicious on everything!
Let’s get to it!
I added the herbs and seasonings to my 250ml jar, placed the lid on and shook it. Super simple!! I used parsley and dill that we dried from our garden last summer! I try to buy organic herbs and seasonings because I find they have the best flavor!
Simple Dry Ranch Dip & Dressing Mix
2 tsp chives
2 tsp dill
2 tsp garlic powder
3 tsp onion flakes
2 tsp onion powder
3 tbsp dried parsley
fresh cracked pepper
1/2 tsp salt
Combine altogether and mix well. Store in a jar in the cupboard for up to 6 months.
To make dip, add mayo and yogurt to a bowl along with 2 tbsp ranch mix. Mix well. Refrigerate until ready to use. To make a dressing, add a bit of milk to thin it out.
