If you love pumpkin spice lattes from the coffee shop, then you’ll love this homemade version!
It has just the right amount of pumpkin spice, is not overly sweet and contains real pumpkin! I cooked a pumpkin, so I’m using that homemade pumpkin puree. It tastes so good!
This latte is great hot or iced. It’s delicious!
Let’s get started!
Add pumpkin puree, vanilla, pumpkin spice, brown sugar and white hot chocolate mix altogether into a pot.
Add milk. I’m using plant based milk and oat & coconut milk half and half since I’m doubling the recipe.
Whisk well. Heat until mixture is warm but not boiling.
Pour into a mug. Froth a bit if you like. To make a latte, add coffee.
I poured my cold brew coffee first and then added the pumpkin mocha creamer.
You could enjoy this as a hot chocolate but I’d add more hot chocolate mix for more of a chocolaty flavor. We are using white hot chocolate but you could also use regular hot chocolate mix as well.
Add whipped cream and a sprinkle of pumpkin pie spice or cinnamon. It’s so good!
Pumpkin White Mocha Latte
I doubled the recipe and added 3/4 tsp pumpkin pie spice so I’d have enough for my coffee for the week.
For one serving:
1 cup milk
1/4 cup pumpkin puree
1/2 tsp vanilla
1/4 tsp homemade pumpkin pie spice
2 tbsp brown sugar
2 tbsp white hot chocolate mix
brewed coffee or espresso
Heat milk, pumpkin puree, vanilla, pumpkin spice and sugar altogether in a pot. Pour into a mug. Froth a bit if you like. If you want to make it a latte, add coffee. Add whipped cream and a sprinkle of pumpkin pie spice.
This makes enough pumpkin spice mocha for 1 serving.
