We love all sorts of pasta dishes and my daughter wanted pizza pasta. So I tossed a bunch of ingredients that you would find on a pizza (you can add your favorite “toppings”) and cooked it with the pasta so the pasta is much more flavorful. It turned out great and is simply delicious! It tastes just like pizza as a pasta. So good!
Let’s get started!
Cook onion in a splash of water and oil. Season with pizza seasoning, salt and pepper. Add sliced pepperoni. Cook until onion is tender and pepperoni is browned.

Add tomato sauce or pasta sauce.

Add water or broth.

Add 2 cups pasta. We are using heart shaped pasta.

Stir.

Add a bit more water if needed – just enough to cover the pasta. Add Italian seasoning. Cook about 10 minutes.

Add a handful of chopped red pepper, about 1/2 a red pepper.

Stir. Let cook 5 minutes.

Turn heat off, cover and let sit 5 minutes.

Mmmmm…looks amazing!

You could add any of your favorite pizza toppings to this pasta!

Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and serve.

We’re having garlic bread and cucumber salad with our pizza pasta. So good!
