This hot fudge sauce is rich and creamy and oh so fudgy! If you love chocolate then you’ll love this fudge sauce — it’s definitely for chocolate lovers!! It is quite different from the chocolate sauce from the 1940s and you do not need nearly as much as you do chocolate sauce. It’s wonderful in a sundae, in coffee drizzled on whipped cream or on anything else you might use a drizzle of chocolate for.
Let’s get started!
In a saucepan, on medium heat, whisk the chocolate, sugar, corn syrup, heavy cream, cocoa powder, butter, vanilla and salt together until the chocolate is melted.

Whisk, allow the mixture to come to a boil. Boil for 3 minutes, stirring constantly. As it boils, the hot fudge sauce will become glossy, smooth and creamy.

Pour into a jar.

Once cooled, store in the fridge. Use the fudge sauce cold or heat some up in a microwave safe bowl.
This fudge sauce is super thick, creamy and super fudgy!
