I love crockpot meals for the simplicity of it! Toss everything in and at the end of a long day, you have a lovely hot meal waiting for you!
This crockpot chicken and gravy is one of our favorites! I add veggies in like potatoes and carrots, but you can add any vegetable you like. Then it feels more like a full meal. I usually cook some veggies like peas on the side and enjoy homemade biscuits or bread with it. So delicious!
Let’s get started!
Toss chicken into the crockpot. Add as much as you need for your family.
Add chopped potatoes.
Add carrots. Slice thicker than usual otherwise thinly chopped carrots may overcook on the crockpot.
Pour in 2 cups gravy mix. Mix 1 packet powdered gravy mix into 2 cups water, or mix 2 tbsp cornstarch into 2 cups chicken broth. Dump into chicken. Add seasonings like dill, 3 onion, salt and pepper.
Place lid on. Cook on low for 8 to 10 hours or on high for 6 to 8 hours.
And here is the yummy chicken and gravy with carrots and potatoes. Smells so good!
A great hearty meal from the crockpot! One of my family’s favorites!
I served it with peas and tea biscuits, but salad or any other side would be great!
