My daughter asked me to make Krabby Patties. I had no idea what Krabby Patties were, so after some searching, I decided I would make this delicious Cast Iron Skillet Burger. Instead of pairing the burger with buns, we opted for mini hashbrowns which was absolutely delicious!
Let’s get started!
Combine ground meat. I am using ground beef. Add seasonings and an egg. I’m using a bbq seasoning, Carolina mustard seasoning, 3 onion, garlic and of course salt and pepper.

Tear up 2 slices of bread. Pour just enough milk over the bread, and let sit until the bread absorbs the milk. Dump into ground meat.

Time to mix. Stir well.

The mixture should be well combined.

Heat cast iron skillet in oven with a bit of lard, bacon grease or oil and butter. Press meat into pan. Bake at 350F for 30 minutes.

I removed excess grease. Carefully flip.

Then put ketchup over top. Sprinkle with extra seasonings. You could also use bbq sauce instead of ketchup. Place back into oven and bake for 30 minutes.

Remove from oven, sprinkle with cheese and place back in oven to melt.

Slice into squares.

Smells like cheeseburgers!! Yum!

Serve on slider buns or on mini hashbrowns. You can easily make hashbrown patties, but we used store bought hashbrown patties since we had them in the freezer.

Assemble your burger with your favorite toppings. I actually liked having it with hashbrowns rather than buns.
These are so good!
